Laid back, very relaxed presence. Filmmaker, pescatarian, 420, 1st generation american. Movies are everything to me. I've loved them my whole life and now have been working in the film industry for over 3 years in NYC.

I'm a respectful, caring, sensitive person, but i'm also tough and stand up for myself or others when necessary :) I also like things to be organized and clean :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Keeping it cheap when traveling and getting to know a local. I would much rather stay with a local and potentially get a deeper cultural experience, rather than stay at a hotel that not only doesn't have a friendly host, but also is sterile and lacks character--doesn't sound so great to me :P

I also just love meeting new people, especially from places outside of where i'm from. I'm much more interested and genuine when striking up a conversation with a stranger, compared to someone in my group of friends, because I always want to have variety in my life and learn new things from new people.
