About Me

Curious, open-minded, creative, always ready for a laugh and always looking for some adventure, loves art, food and wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an easy and fun way to get to know other people. I believe people from all over the world are both as equal as different as we all are. So why not have some fun and get to know things about the place you're at, while learning about our differences and equalities.

Interests

Art, poetry and literature, music - in foreign cities especially jamsessions and singer-songwrites open mic nights.
And - very important- the local food and beverages, in fun and lovely bars and restaurants. Followed by discovering the nightlive.
Strolling around is the best and most adventures way to get to know a city, I think.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music, especially the danceable kind. Funk, soul and eighties are favorites, but dreamy and a bit troubled guitars, or some postrock, or electronic music, I fancy as well.
Some of my favorite books are 'Les Saisons' by Maurice Pons, and 'Het behouden huis' by W.F. Hermans, a Dutch author. I also really like 'Fight Club', and 'The time travellers wife' made me cry like a baby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Berlin, where we had quite some couchsurfers, was pretty amazing. And the trip I'm about to make to Finland, St. Petersburg and Japan will be too, no doubt about that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would just love to meet new people who feel the same about the world and who can learn me things about the place they love.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm interested any time and think i can add some fun and sometimes a point of view you didn't aspected. Besides that I'm a good cook, an enthusiastic dancer, a non-educated but willing kickboxing- and yoga teacher (at your own risk....), and I can advice you a lot of books you never heard about, or read you some poetry in Dutch.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei Darussalam, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
