Hi,
My name is Mark, and I study at Copenhagen University
I live at a dorm between Copenhagen airport and the city centre. When not studying or working I enjoy concerts, street events, festivals parties and am a very outgoing person in general. I also like to read a lot and to expand my horizon as much as possible, with exciting new experiences through travel and meeting new people.
I am fluent in english and proficient in german. French and spanish I can understand and speak somewhat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like most others I think, I joined Couchsurfing because it saves a lot of money(Which is nice for students), and is a perfect way of getting to know new people from around the world. Also because travelling to new countries can often feel rushed and unpersonal if you dont know any locals there.

I live at a big student dorm very close to copenhagen airport and city centre which is perfect for short stays. There a many international students living here already, so visitors should never feel out of place. We often eat together in our common kitchen and people are very friendly and open here, which also means that should I have to work or something when hosting, there are many other people living right next door probably willing to show guests around and explain whats what. There are other couchsurfer hosts on my dorm, and we each have some couchspace and extra madrasses and sheets that we can make available for guests.

This summer I want to travel a lot when exams are done, and thought it best to start hosting a bit beforehand to get the hang of it first :)
