About Me
💁🏼♂️I find myself in a re-discovery phase of who and how I am and how I wanna live life…. though I can already say about myself that I am a good hearted, loyal, open-minded, funny and friendly fellow…. Those are the adjectives I can think of for the moment. Maybe by getting to know each other, we can discover more together 😅🤗
I am currently traveling via Istanbul to India- hitchhiking or whatever method via land or water presents itself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
🛋️ I am starting a world travel in February 2025. My first plan is to hitchhike from Hamburg, Germany via Istanbul, Turkey to Delhi, India where my girlfriend awaits me… I wish to get to know the culture and the people of each country along the way. I hope to meet lots of wonderful people.
I also like being a host to friends and family but have not yet used the chance to be one on Coachsurfing- hopefully upon my return when I find myself a new home.

Music, Movies, and Books
🎶 I like music of Marc Cohn but then also oldies from artists like Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams…
🎥 One of my Favorite movies is A Walk in the clouds but many more.. love movies like Notting hill, legends of the fall, email for you, Australia, sleepless in Seattle, Serendipity, the lake house… but also documentaries like Pachakutec- time of change, Vandana Shiva- a life for the earth, the silent revolution.
📖 rn I am loving books from John Strelecky like „the cafe on the edge of the world“ or „life safari“ and „Big five for live“. The book which inspired me for my current traveling is called „with 50 € around the world“ by Christopher Schacht.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
🇲🇽 In 2018 I lived for a year in Mexico City and got to know the delicious cuisine, the multifaceted and diverse culture and most importantly the good-hearted and generous people. On one hand I dove into the every day life- by meeting friends, going out in nightlife, having a dance partner learning Salsa, sing karaoke Luis Miguel & Alejandro Fernandez songs, eating lots of street foods, volunteering for an NGO for people from the street, helping a friend with his bakery, going on hikes, exploring the city by bike, visiting an organic farm and more
And on the other hand diving into work life and seeing how hardworking the Mexicans are- i did an internship in the import department at a crane production company in Iztapalapa, Mexico City
