I am in couchsurfing because I thought it was very interesting the idea, so that the exchange of experiences with people from different places is greater than swap with money and etc. ... It is also interesting, because you get information of places that you've never been, know better still the place that you are traveling. Makes it easy for anyone who wants to get to know a place, you exchange experiences and learn a lot of stuff with lots of knowledge.
