I am 24 years old student from hungary, who likes to travel a lot. In 2015 I have benn lucky to visit France, for a Ski camp, and Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Germany and Austria, this last four I visited with four of my friends in one week, it was a nice road trip. I spent the summer in a christian camp in Arkansas (Camp War Eagle) where i was working with a cultural scholarship. I got visa for 3 month of working, and one month for travelling, so i spend the money i got to visit as many parts of the united states as possible. I am visiting San Francisco, Los Angeles, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Washington, Philadelphia the Niagara Falls and New york.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am visiting these places with my frineds, but as the trip goes one they have to go home one by one, because we applied for visa for different times(we didnt know each other before the camp), and while my flight goes home on the 4th of september the others go home earlier (some in the end of august, some in the begining of september). To Las Vegas we all arrive together, the 7 of us, but 3 of us has to go home from there, and the 4 of us go to Washington. One of us leaves us there, so the 3 of us goes to Philly and the NF, and to New York i will probably arrive alone(I arrive with them, but they have to go home almost immediately.

Interests

I do a lot of sport, i used to play waterpolo for 8 years professionally, know I am only playing for fun. I also play a lot of football (soccer), that is what we all do in Europe. I like to play squash to, I play that once a week. I do a lot of snowboarding to, i go to France once a week with the university ski camp. I also like to travel a lot, and meet new people, thats why i decided to go on this adventure this summer all alone. It was a very nice experience, I made a lot of friends in the camp, and i learned a lot about different lifestyles, different habits. That is something I am interested in too, thats why i study International Studies/Relations.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of different music, but what i like most is Mark Knopfler, the Dire Straits, the System of a Down, I listen to some Iron Maiden too, and basicly everything, that has some nice guitar solo in it. My favourite book is the Harry Potter series, i consider myself lucky to have grown up reading that. I still read the whole series once in every one or two years. My favourite movies are the ones that make you think, and has some surprising ending. I really like Nolans The Prestige, Spielberg Minority Report, or The Man from Earth by Richard Shenkman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer, this adventure, applying for it, doing all the paperwork on my own, arriving a place where i have never been, where i dont know anyone, spending here three month, making new friends, working almost every day, practicing the language, discovering the USA...well that was amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my good tempered and fun attitude with anyone : ). I dont know what can i teach, probaly a lot of things about Hungary, and what i want to learn is a lot of things about the pklace i visit.
