Movies: Anything that stands out from the crowd of mainstream blockbusters; e.g. The Departed, Inception, Fight Club . If possible, my choice is always a nature show, narrated by sir David Attenborough.

Books: Prefer non-fiction. Recently read: The God Delusion (Richard Dawkins), The Selfish Gene (Richard Dawkins, Black Holes and Baby Universes (Stephen Hawking), Present at the Creation (Amir D. Aczel), You Are Not So Smart (David McRaney). Although it is fiction, I did enjoy The Martian (Andy Weir).
