We are a couple from Newquay Cornwall, England, living in a nice quiet spot with amazing views overlooking Fistral Beach and Newquay golf course. Lyndsey is a nurse and Jonathan is a swimming pool engineer. We love to travel and surf together and have been partners for 8 years.

We cannot believe we only just heard about couch surfing! Our friend and his wife (experienced couch surfers) told us all about it just last night. (March 2015) They said we would be brilliant couch surfers and should give it a try!
What a great idea, and we're really happy to find out about this amazing concept.

We both love food and are always cooking up something interesting. We have picked up some interesting recipies on our travels and love to cook for friends, family and guests!

Living in Cornwall is a blessing for so many reasons and we love the lifestyle here, we have a handful of beaches on our doorstep and about another 50 within an hours drive. We spend lots of time taking walks on the beach, looking for treasures like sea-glass and washed up pottery and sometimes make jewellery from them in our spare time.

We also love to do stuff that involves getting in or on the sea. We are both surfers and get in whenever it's good. When it's not that good, we will swim, go kayaking or fishing for our lunch! We are also thinking about joining our local rowing club.

We are also lucky enough to have the South West Coast Path all around us and we love to take walks year round. During the summer and Autumn, we go in search of walks that take us to secluded little coves and quiet beaches and others that just show such amazing scenery.

During the summer and autumn, we tend to spend most evenings at the beach after a surf, watching the sunset with a nice bottle of wine or a few beers.....and more often than not, we build our own BBQ from stones on the beach and bring a grill and some charcoal from home and have our dinner there too!

All in all, we are a happy go lucky couple who would love to share our beautiful area and interests with other couch surfers and are really excited to learn new hobbies or interests of other couch surfers too!

We like most music and have quite a big collection, we love everything from 50's Rock and roll to drum and bass, with some jazz thrown in the middle for good measure!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

We can share a small, but very nice apartment in an amazing location with really beautiful views, it's really cozy and we have a brilliant shower and comfy sofa bed in our living room. We can share our love of food and the ocean, our enjoyment of music and our lovely little town and the amazing county we live in. We are established and have loads of friends in our area and can offer good local knowledge and can help our couch surfing guests with finding everything from a souvenir to a cheap taxi. For our new couch surfing friends that want to travel light, we can share our surfboards, wetsuits and even our clothes if you need them! Mi casa, su casa!
