I love to learn, and travel. I have a degree in History, and I love to collect history from people first hand--it is far more instructive than reading books, and whatnot. I'm now studying electrical engineering after having worked for a few years. I also love God, and see his handiwork in the world around me, often most powerfully in nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a lot of classical--Bruckner, Rimsky Korsakov, Rachmaninoff. But I also like modern music too: Led Zepplin, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beatles, Beck, Sufjan Stevens, Wilco & others.

Books: Favorite two books--and I can't quite make up my mind between them--are To Kill a Mockingbird and Great Expectations. I like a lot of Dickens, Sherlock Holmes stories, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Isaac Asimov, and many others. Shakespeare is also very high on my list. And, the Book of Mormon, but less for entertainment and more for religious value.

Movies: I like the original Star Trek movies, and the original Star Wars movies. Also such great ones such as Interstellar, Inception, The Departed, Tron Legacy, The Sting, Letters from Iwo Jima, A Few Good Men, and other films.
