Because i prefer to stay with someone who knows the city their own way. Hosts can help you find hidden gems in the town, so it's a cheap and interesting way to stay in a city. It's a very different experience from the one you get when you stay in a hotel.

Also, when i'm not travelling, i love being a host and recommend my guests the best places in my beautiful town.

Books: i read authors like Richard Rorty, Jurgen Habermas, Edmund Husserl and Pierre Bourdieu, but also authors like Borges Houellebecq, Philip Roth, Murakami and Julián Herbert.

I once directed a school theatre play that went great. I love theatre, but i'm a terrible actress, so i felt great when i did that :)
