After my master degree on linguistics i became sailor volunteer on the Hermione, a eighteenth century frigate for a long trip along the US East Coast during the 2015 summer.
I grew up in Rochefort, Charentes-Maritime, France a little city near the Atlantic Coast which was the royal dockyard during the eighteenth century. It's where they build the Hermione.
