I have a phD in Chemical Engineering and work as a scientist.
I've lived my whole life in Rio and I love it!
I live in Tijuca, a nice place located next to Rio's downtown and having an easy access to any other place in the city.

I'm on couchsurfing 'cause I really like to make new friends, to know different cultures, learn about it and the most important, I love to travel!

Interests

As an engineer, it may be redundant to say that I'm really into everything related to technology but, beside this, I love to practice sports.
I was a swimming competitor when a was a teenager but nowadays my only activity is in the gym. I work out about an hour and a half every weekday.
As a nice Carioca, I love beaches!
I can't forget to say that I love coffee and I studied a little bit to become a barista. They told me I was one of them but, maybe you can give me an honest veredict.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a wide range of music styles, from Brazilian MPB to International Rock.
But one style that sounds pretty good for me is Blues and Jazz, even tough I'm not an expert in this issue.
To be more precise, I like Brazilian artists like Ana Carolina, Djavan, Cássia Eller, Maria Rita,...
Among the international ones, I like something like Coldplay, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jason Mraz, Jamie Cullum, Ed Sheeram, John Legend, Michael Bublé,...

Unfortunately I don't have enough time to read more books, but I like to do it. My favorite style is History. I like to know about the history of the places, the events and stuffs like that.

I think I can teach you to swim, to make coffee using different techniques.
If you want to, I can teach you some technical stuffs about math, physics, chemistry, programming...
