I sing and perform for a living, and manage a couple of my bands. I studied environmental sciences in college but dropped out to pursue singing. I'm a novice with sound engineering, and hoping to learn more about it. I'm first generation here in the States; my mom came over from The Netherlands when she was young.

I'm outgoing, friendly, positive, and I love experiencing new places and people. I'd like to travel all over the globe, but those pesky airfare prices... and well now, a baby! Some places on my travel wishlist: Australia, Germany, Alaska, Hawaii, Italy, Japan, Indonesia (where my grandfather was born and raised), Argentina, Brazil...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm thrifty, and I love meeting new people and doing spontaneous things! I'm a shoestring traveler and new to couchsurfing but I have done a bit of traveling. What better way to see a new place than to stay with a local?

Sang at the Annual 9/11 Memorial Fundraiser at the Waldorf in NYC - Hiked a closed trail where the oldest dinosaur fossils in the world were discovered in Nova Scotia - Ask me, because some stories are inappropriate for the internet :)
