Hi there!
My Name is Dominik and I am 24 years old. I'm a student at the University of Freiburg in Germany, where I study Physical Education, Poltiical Science and Physics. I aim to become a teacher in the future. This september, I will start my exchange year in Nova Scotia at the Acadia University in Wolfville, NS.

I am really interested in talking about a lot of stuff that are different than in my home country. I can be talkative but I am also a good listener and a good partner for night long conversations. ( According to my references :D )

I would say I am a sports person. I'm always eager to get to know new sports and try them out.
That is tougher than I thought...so maybe the best option would be to get to know me so you can get your own impression :)

For several reasons!

I would say there are practical and ideological reasons.

I am a mutlicultural person. I think one of the reasons for that is, that I grew up with an italian father and a german mother. But also because I was always interested in new cultures and countries ( At the age of 8 I already had 3 atlases at home. A little geeky...I know). In my opinion this community is the best way to broaden your own horizon regarding this topic. The pracitcal reason is that you offer and get free accomodation and therefore give travelers all over the world the opportunity to get to know natives and travel cheaper and more.

Oh wow, lots of things....

I'm very interested in doing sports, especially soccer, beach volleyball and swimming. But as I am in Canada now, I am really eager to learn how to skate properly and play hockey. Because that would be the only right thing to do, eh? :)
I also love to get to know things about politics and social issues. Once you have a perception of a country's politics and society you understand better how the country works and see it from a different perspective.

Reading in general, listen to and make music ( I used to play the drums). To cook and eat...and always eager to get to know new things
