I work full time as a field engineer in the oilfields of Western Canada, but I take any chance I get to travel either locally or internationally. I love being outdoors, hiking and exploring new places. Getting lost in a city is the best way to get to know it!
I'm a bit of a goof once you get to know me and spontaneous adventures are my favourite.

When I'm not outside hiking/walking, I really enjoy wandering around natural history museums. Recommendations for good mineralogy exhibits are welcome!

I like pop, folk, indie and edm. Kind of all over! I also enjoy classical and jazz.
For books I lean more towards historical fiction. Loved the Game of Thrones series!
My movie choices tend to be chick flicks and romantic comedies. I do like a good action film too! The Avengers are always great as well at the James Bond films.

One of the most amazing things I've had the chance to do is to hike through one of the world's longest lava tubes in Hawaii. The Kazumura lava tube. Incredible experience!!
