About Me

I love emotion of all kind, I think that's what makes life interesting and also help me being a good musician and human being. I'm sensitive to all those little moment in life where something is beautiful and unique in a way. I consider myself open-minded, generous and funny.. at least in my own language lol. I often play fetch with my awesome little cat, Ninja. I like to have fun with my friends, making dinner to share, going out for a hike or a beer in a park. My friends would say that I'm "spit fire" so, sometimes...you might want a get out of my way lol, not really ;) But I do like to express my opinion about things and exchange about life in a passionate way. I like when things are in action, I'm spontaneous and always ready to embrace an adventure. When I have an idea, I follow it to the end, perseverance is part of me. My orchestral job demand me to practice at home so I like my place to be clean and organize. I also like to go busk outside or in a subway to try some stuff up and make the blood flow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want a explore the world the way I feel like it in the moment, in a way to feel close to the people and their culture. I want a get away from my confort zone, who will still there anyway..

Interests

I love music, I play classical but prefer listen to other kind for a change. I love running as well as yoga of many types to feel alive and well in my body. One of my favorite thing to do is cooking, discover new flavors and new tricks to make my life taste awesome! Always happy to discover new tea flavors as I chat or play a game with some friends. I like dancing, but don't do it often anymore, I did when I was younger some jazz ballet, contemporary dance, as well as african dance. I would like to learn a new one. I do some art and craft for passing the time, be expressive and let go some thoughts...but I don't take myself seriously. I have an interest for photography, the old fashion style in black and white and I like reading about philosophy, psychology or history, preferring to learn something, otherwise my choice would be science fiction.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think Bjork is genius! This is from far my favorite artist. Otherwise, the style I will listen will change with my mood lots. Here's some : Radiohead, Massive Attack, Misteur Valaire, Klo Pelgag, Jean Leloup, Arcade Fire, Jorge Ben, Michael Jackson, Louise Attaque, LSD Soundsystem, Nirvana, Jacques Brel, Groenland, Boratto, Fanny Bloom, Elsiane, Gainsbourg, Devendra Benhart, Daft Punk, Janis Joplin, Alicia Keys etc ... it's all different but all good. For books, I loved "the power of now" from Eckart Tolle and also "New earth", that really open my mind to something great. I red pretty much all the books of Bernard Weber, great science fiction. Hermann Hesse, Michel Tremblay (quebecer and awesome), etc.. For movies, you'll think it's usual but I really do like Kubrick, Coen's brothers movies, Death Proof, Forest Gump, Amélie Poulin, All about Mary, etc.. I also like documentary like : Dreams of Sushi and I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a solo recital for my concours at the Conservatory in Montreal and had the price at the unanimous jury, which made me very proud as well as that was diffuse on the radio in Montreal. I was part of many different music ensembles with great musician and I'm grateful to having that in my life.
I kept my cold while I was in a big car accident, helping the one beside me. Those moment in life, you're not scare and you know exactly what to do some how, that's amazing.
