我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am interested in the real culture of different locations, you cannot learn much just from going on tourist excursions. Couchsurfing is a cheaper and much more interesting way to travel and explore different cultures. As well I am a very proud Latvian, so I like to share the beauty of my city with anyone ready to enjoy it.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was 20, I decided that I want to go on an adventure and moved to Greece for 6 months, completely on my own without really even knowing where I am going to live or work and not knowing a single soul there. It was the bravest and scariest thing I had ever done but I honestly never will regret it because those 6 months were probably the wildest, craziest and most fun months of my life. Turns out people all around the world all are connected and so alike in our most basic emotions and reactions. :)

I am a very big patriot of my city and our history, so if a tour of old town filled with stories and historical facts is what my guest wants- no problem.
Luckily I am not only a book worm but also a very active person, so I know all the good spots for food, drinks and nightlife as well! :)
