Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea and I like people so I figured I'd have a look at the page.

Interests

My favorite board game is Settlers of Catan. I'm a active user of Netflix (series) when I'm on my own, with friends I like watching anime or movies in general. I play roll-playing games like DnD, World of Darkness and so on every week with friends. I'm a photographer by education, but artist at heart.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love musicals (mainly movie versions as going to the theater is costly). I've seen Phantom of the Opera live in New York, and Cats as they had a show in Oslo about 10 years ago (or more). As for movie musicals: RENT is my favorite I think or maybe Evita with Antonio Banderas. I need to re watch "Repo! The Genetic Opera" as realized I really don't remember it. Pick of Destiny and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street I've put on in the background many times. Still I've not really seen many so want to watch many more, basically how I feel about anime as well.

Used to read lots of book. As a kid it was anything I could get my hands on. When I got older fantasy took up more and more time. Animorphs, all the Harry Potter books, quite a bit by Trudi Canavan and Sara Douglass. Trying to finish the Ultimate Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy atm. It's fun, but lacking the emotional story that drives me onward.

Sense 8 is a series I recommend if you just get past the first episode it is really great. But I'm pretty sure I would have stopped after the first episode (maybe before) if not for my friend really pointing out how great it gets. AJ and the Queen, 3% and Cable Girls are also 3 series I like and recommend to some people.

Ouran High Host Club was and probably still is my favorite anime. But I've seen Death Note and other classics and like them too.

Went to Cap d'Agde last summer (2019) to the nature village there. It was a freeing feeling.
