Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is little old me with my first attempts at making my life a little more interesting. I can't say I've been pretty much anywhere yet, other than Canada (but that doesn't count because I grew up there). Now I'm on my path to my first travels as a tourist abroad and I want to stay away from the big, fancy hotels where it would be lonely and as not-real-world-ish as it gets!

Interests

Let's see... Interested in MUSIC, ART, NATURE and natural healing; Psychology, philosophy... all types of religions... I interact with people from all sorts of countries and creeds (especially at the international school that I teach in where everyone is from everywhere, total mish-mash) . I'm vegetarian going vegan, minimalist, flexible (in both senses), really down-to-earth and low-maintenance :D

Music, Movies, and Books

Music differs so much... I have my eras and I've been through everything from techno and nu metal to oldies and funk to jazz and blues, to new age and world. But mostly I love the Sounds of Nature ^_^

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You could say I'm on the steady road to changing my life these past few years. First I quit my life-long boring job as a secretary and decided I want to be a kindergarten teacher :o) Then I started wondering whether I have to continue that teaching in Europe :D I aim at trying new things, just for the sake of the challenge and broadening my horizons :)
