I've lived in Washington my whole life and have always had a creative spirit. I am always looking for new projects to work on in an array of genres, but I especially love writing and filmmaking, although the latter I am looking to build my own experience in.

I love to work, and live to learn new skills. I've held three jobs concurrently for about a year, and loved it. Suffice to say, that if there is something that you think i can help with, or would be willing to teach my so that I can help you, I am all for it. I feel like that's a fair trade for a space on your couch. :)

I took four years of Spanish in high school, which was several years ago, so it might be little rusty, but I can understand a bit, and if i had more practice, I believe I could get better.

I have, however, become decently fluent in American Sign Language, although I have been informally taught. That I use on a regular basis with my co-worker Tom, who is the one who taught me, so I would happily teach you some basic ASL.

If you accept me intro your home, I will treat it and you with the same respect that I would expect others to treat me and my home.

A few years ago, when I started this profile, I went on a little adventure up and down the west coast of the United States, which was the time of life. This time around, I plan to go all over, experiencing the US and different cultures within it. I also have a car this time around, and I am optimistic.

One last note: I will rarely bring it up unless it's relevant, so don't worry if you are not a fan, but the band Green Day is a very large part of my life and were a huge inspiration for my travels last time. So if you are a fan of Green Day, any fan is a friend of mine! <3

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to gain new experiences, learn new skills, enrich my life and the lives of others, while experiencing the world around me.

I want to build a recipe book out of food I try in all the places I've been/will go. That doesn't mean that I HAVE to cook food everywhere though. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw some beautiful places and met some amazing people a few years ago while I traveled the West Coast of the US. I also helped someone through when her mom died when I was a kid, which she went out of her way to tell me years later. I'll never forget that. <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make meringue cookies, know decent ASL, and am well experienced with variety of cleaning jobs.

I would love to learn new techniques for photography and new filming techniques, as I am self taught in both, but really, anything you can and want to share with me is wonderful. I am terribly interested in screenwriting, too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will help you around your place, I can make awesome rainbow meringue cookies, and I would love to teach some basic American Sign Language :3
