About Me

I’m a gay man in my late 40’s, very easygoing and calm. I enjoy sharing time and experiences with other gay men.
I retired and moved out of the city, to Santa Elena (Parque Arví), to be more in touch with nature. I have a large pice of land to go out hiking and trekking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve never really used Couchsurfing, but I’ve been wanting to do it for some time now. I want to engage with men from all around the world. As a gay man, I prefer to host for other gay men traveling, hoping to make their stay in our city as fun and memorable as we like to feel when we travel.
I want to make new friends from around the world, to hear of your travel experiences, get inspired to go there and travel more myself.
I plan to spend 6 months traveling Southeast Asia and would love to learn from you if you’ve been there or in general about traveling for long periods of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been clean from drugs and alcohol for 20+ years.
I dreamed of retiring from work by 2026, I I got to do it on 2023. I’ve been retired for more than a year now and enjoying every day of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in Santa Elena - this is a locality 60 minutes from Poblado or downtown Medellín - in a house in the middle of the forest of PARQUE ARVÍ.
I have a guest house, independent from the main house, but you can also have access to the terrace.

For the past three years, I have been traveling all over Colombia. Exploring great trekking trails, waterfalls, rivers … beaches and mountains (up to the snow here in Colombia). I’d love to share my experience getting to discover my own country and learn from you more places I should travel to.
