Hello there!

Pleasure to meet you. We're Keely and Doug, two open-minded Californians from the San Francisco Bay Area trying to explore the world.

We met in Nov. 2013 and have been going steady ever since. In Dec. 2016 we quit our office jobs to fulfill our goals of traveling around the world.

So far we've travelled to Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, and are currently staying with friends in Melbourne. We plan on traveling Asia after.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We are on couchsurfing to meet locals while we try to navigate our trip. We want to learn from seasoned travelers and hosts who are willing to accept us into their homes.

Interessen

We're interested in creating relationships and connections with people who enjoy having them.

Keely loves dogs, cooking (and trying new foods/recipes), reading, gardening, drawing, painting (watercolors), soccer and acroyoga.

Doug loves cats, red wines (but will drink whites), photography, videography, playing guitar, water sports and snow boarding.

We both share a love for the outdoors, good food and animals.

Hiking/trekking is usually our goto day activity especially if there's a beach nearby. We both enjoy cooking together and also appreciate finding yummy restaurants having worked in the hospitality industry throughout our college years. We're always keen for a good walk through the city centre.

Doug's great with cameras and editing tools, and Keely loves cooking and acroyoga.

Would love to learn how to scuba dive.

We are open to giving and receiving, but have no expectations on how things should be. Let's just enjoy our time together.
