I am Magdalini and I am to just begin my college studies in Oberlin or Wesleyan college in the USA. I come from a city called Thessaloniki in Greece. I could say I like my country but do not wish to limit my experiences in Greece. My passion is theater and I wish to be an actress after I finish my studies. Also this type of "about me" questions get me kind of nervous, since I do not understand their purpose when all types of specific questions "about you" follow after (this aims to be a joke).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Although I am not a major fun of technology and social networks, I consider couch surfing a truly amazing opportunity.
Traveling solely as a tourist ( in the sense of booking an expensive hotel and visiting the 10 musts of a place) is a waste of time and money. In order to really get a taste of somewhere you have to see it through people who know it. I am very fond of meeting people and very adjustable to practically anywhere so I think couch surfing fits my standards of having a life experience.
I am new to couch surfing but I am very excited to host people and Greece is beautiful in the summer.

Intereses

I am very interested in theater and really any form of art. Drawing, literature, dance, music, movies are all my top interests. I like traveling and some types of extreme sports, although I am generally not a sporty type. I like hanging out with friends and talking mostly but I also wouldn't say no to a party. I like camping and hiking a lot and my favorite place is a sunny beach. I also enjoy history, politics and sociology.

Música, películas y libros

Music: mainly rock, I like Jazz , Indie and Reggae. I can bear pop (if I am in a good mood), but absolutely hate electronic music-it gives me a headache. Some of my favorite bands are: Nirvana, The Beatles, Queen, Rolling Stones, Queens of the Stone Age and The Strokes. I also like some Greek artists.
I love literature and my favorite book is perfume.
It is too had to choose a favorite movie, especially because when you're asked to you forget every good movie you ever watched and your head is stuck to sponge bob or anything like that. I love woody Allen and Tarantino's work. A movie I recently watched and liked is Words and Pictures and Underground.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

In case of material staff I can share pretty much anything that would be hygiene to exchange. I am very happy to share clothes or other staff like notebooks, small pieces of furniture or basically anything needed I am happy to give.
If this question refers to practical issues of co living with someone I absolutely have no problem in sharing a room, staying in the living room or even a bed if the person is near my age. I have a lost of experience in campsites so I am used to sharing facilities.
In terms of personal things I guess it depends on how well I get to know them, but I am an open person in general so I can share ideas, stories, secrets and hopefully life long experiences.
