I am an avid runner/biker and especially enjoy entertaining at home. Friends and family are most important to me. I always enjoy meeting new people and consider myself an easy going, conversational individual. I value my contributions on my job and always strive to excel in the work environment. I enjoy travel, both for business and pleasure and hope that the couch-surfing network will expand opportunities to explore more cities and countries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a member of Airbnb and have stayed with several hosts. Many of them speak favorably about couch-surfing so I decided to join. One of my best friends is a couch-surfing host and has had nothing but great things to say about his experiences as a host and a guest.

Interests

Weight-lifting, mountain-biking, running, exploring new areas of my home-town, other states, and other countries. I enjoy the work that I do to support world health. I enjoy yoga and its combined benefits for a balanced existence. I take very good care of my body and make every effort to stay in good shape physically and mentally. I am a pianist and realize creative peace when practicing/performing.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music preferences are variable. I can't narrow it down. I enjoy human interest movies/documentaries and especially enjoy movies about history and the human effect on historical events. I read such a variety of books. I can get lost in a book and read for hours (whether I have the time or not). When I read at night however, I tend to fall asleep quickly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every day is amazing. I can't say that I perform amazing acts everyday, but I have done some very cool things. 'Amazing' is subjective.

I feel as though I offer lessons and absorb learning opportunities every day. Living this life is a learning tool for wisdom. I capitalize on these opportunities as lessons learned for a better future.

I am a considerate, quiet, and respectful person. I will treat your home as if it were my own (and I treat my home with every respect). I show a genuine interest in others which builds when there is a mutual curiosity.
You will see this mentioned in a few places in my profile (for emphasis): I do not offer guests access to my private home-WiFi network. I do not provide a guest WiFi network. It is important that potential guests are aware of this and plan accordingly should they choose to stay with me. I suggest that guests arrive with their own hotspot on mobile devices. Options for guest WiFi access include places like Starbucks, only 2 blocks away from my home.
