About Me

I was born and live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Istanbul right now. I studied Film Production in Izmir, at Ege University. I traveled almost every city in Turkey, and now it is time for going abroad and to learn new cultures, and absorb them! So my goal in my trips to meet different people, and experience different ways of living.

I'm an outgoing person, and try to enjoy every moment I live. I respect every living thing in universe, and I try and do my best to make it better in every way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet and enjoy life with kind and fun people around the world.
To share experiences about life with people who understand each other.

Interests

I'm into directing short movies, and writing scenarios. I design visual concepts, according to emotional situations, or nothingness, or how you examine a leaf's fall in your mind.

I like listening to deep house music and discovering new DJs and bands creating such genre.

I love trekking and camping. I spend at least a week in a year, going camping to southern site of Turkey, enjoying nature, and becoming one with it.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies of Ingmar Bergman, Krzysztof Kieślowski and Andrey Tarkovsky and such directors.

I love Existentialism, Sartre and Camus are two of my favourite writers. "Being and Nothingness" is the book I like most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hitchhiked for two weeks and traveled around Turkey. I enjoyed every single moment of it because meeting new people out of nowhere, and see how kind they are is a rare experience you can get.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I like Cinematic art a lot, and have loads of information about it, I can share my knowledge about World Cinema culture with the host, and answer their questions about art in Turkey. And I can tell them about Turkish way of life, and maybe even cook some Turkish cousine for them.
