Hello!
My name is Deja and I live in Novo mesto, Slovenia. I am an art historian and prof. of English. I studied in Maribor and had my first experiences with Couchsurfing while studying there. I work as a project manager and custodian at a Gallery of Naive Artists in Trebnje. In my free time I also translate and write curatorial texts. When I travel I want to see as much of art the city has to offer. I love animals and exploring in nature. I am a creative person, who loves cartoons and writing.

I'm working on my PhD in art history. I'm researching the connection between nature and art. I like to read (currently in Murakami mode) and walks in the woods. I also like to create...drawing, painting, sewing, embroidery...

I love indie and rock music. My favourite band is Arctic Monkeys and I am a sucker for any song which has string in it. I am a big lover of cartoons. My favourite is Avatar the Last Airbender.

I am a great cook. Even if you are not a vegetarian like me, I am sure I can blow you away with my recipes.
I love to talk about music and art, so I would love to share my knowledge about that.
I used to dance, contemporary and modern ... so some good stretches and sick moves are also in my repertoire :).
I'm also known as a living freezer (extreme cold hands) and apothecary (chemistry or all natural, I'm your girl).
