My name is Anaïs.
I was born in Belgium, but spent my young life in the cold but beautiful Switzerland. Because of my parents nationality (Belgian) i speak french at home. We live now in the german speaking part of Switzerland.

7 years ago I made an exchange year in the United States where I went to High School. After finishing High School in Switzerland, I studied to become a Primary Teacher. I couldn't wait for my studies to finish to go travelling! So in 2013 I combined travelling with work- I was teaching German in an international Primary School in Malaysia for a year.
This two year overseas were the most precious time i've spent.

I'm a Person you get along with pretty well, who loves the adventure, loves to go out with friends but also just having a talk with a glass of whine or to lay down on the couch and watch tv.

As you may have noticed,I'm pretty intrested in other cultures and into travelling. But as it has to be in life, I'm working now in Switzerland (not as a Primary teacher anymore but as a real estate agent- quite the change, I know!!). As I don't want to fall in a daily routine, I found the thought of Couchsurfing very tempting.
