History student, because I LOVE humans. That is, not necessarily as an individual person, but as a species doing hilarious things of all sorts. I have lots of hobbies and i am very diligent, so I will be rather busy. Also, I am an AIESEC member of LC Bonn.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It is a great idea, simple as that. I have not travelled that much, but my two exchange experiences have convinced me, that being somewhere abroad widens your horizon significantly.

Also: Costs often curtail possibilities to travel and experience and as they should not be, Couchsurfing is just what you were looking for.

Intereses

Music, playing as well as listening, and sports (mainly koryu, i.e. pre-modern japanese martial arts schools).

History and what's going on in the world. The present is full of interesting things and so is history. History, present and future are more of a unity than most people think. Many things are done because of history, just because they have been done like that before. The most important thing is to question everything, even though there may be no answer (which is quite often).
First thing you learn as a history student: never trust an eyewitness. Second thing: there is no truth.

That said I am interested mainly in different organisations of society and state, war and militaries (not because it is "cool", but because it is important), ideologies of all sorts and fanaticism. Economy and technology are also amazing, but I dont have much talent for understanding them.

Last but not least: anything that has to do with China or Japan.

Got lots of gold medals without ever winning. Ask me how i did it.

Stood (that is standing, not sitting!) through 4 and a half hours of Wagner's Parsival in Vienna for four bucks. Absolutely amazing in scale, professionalism etc.
