About Me

Heya

I'm a 27-old history geek in Holstebro, Denmark. I studied to be a lab tech but switched over to IT because, frankly, it's easier. I'm an uncomplicated, easygoing sort, although I'm terribly shy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people. And I just got a lovely new apartment - with a couch - all of my own. My friend in Switzerland suggested I try hosting someone, and now that I'm able to do it I'd love to try and see if anyone's interested.

Interests

I'm a bit of a geek. History and science, psychology and anthropology, that kind of stuff. I like learning about other peoples and places all over the world, and I'm quite the curious sort when I bump into someone who's from an interesting place. :)

I also like the usual... TV, movies, video games, hanging out, cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Christopher Tin. I'm not gonna lie; I am not a huge music guy, but Tin is pretty great, I think. I think they call it "World music".
Movies (and TV): I tend to think my favourite movie was 12 Angry Men. Really, I like a lot of the psychological movies, like A Beautiful Mind, stuff like that. As for TV, I'm looking forward to the new season of Game of Thrones and Orange is the New Black

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I better not say. You'd very likely not appreciate that the most awesome thing I ever did was perfectly irrelevant to pretty much anyone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I'm supposed to say something people might not know? Well, I recently learned that St. Bededag in Denmark is not actually a holiday celebrating 7th century scholar Bede the Venerable. ;-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself a pretty good cook, and I'm very trustworthy (as if that means anything). I would never be unreasonable towards a guest, or treat them with anything but kindness and respect.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Germany, Morocco, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Denmark
