About Me

I consider myself a curious person - there are many segments of the world which could have my interest, even though I don't dig very deeply into most of these things. Maybe that's why I'm studying sociology: I would like to get connected to many things, let it be history, geography, economics, literature, sport, religion... And the best way to achieve this, is to travel and meet locals.
Basically, I'm a bit quiet but on the other hand, I'm always observing my environment and I'm a good listener. This also means that instead of non-stop partying, I really like and enjoy deep convervastions while sitting on the riverside and drinking some beer/wine.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favorite one from any of these cultural products - it always depends on my mood what I consume. Here are some of my favorites, without being exhaustive:

Movies

The Godfather; Amélie; The Fifth Seal; The Lives of Others; In Order of Disappearence; Babel; any movie by Jiří Menzel; Persepolis; Fiddler on the Roof

Music

Mostly alternative (e.g. Sigur Rós, Manu Chao, Kraftwerk, etc. - a very broad category) and also classical music (Mozart, Chopin, Mendelssohn in particular)

Books

Mainly Hungarian and Russian literature but I'm open to anything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I decided to go to Iceland as a volnuteer. I've had a few very good decisions in my life but probably this was one of the best (it was definitely a top 3 best decision). Apart from the wonderful nature, I met some really good people and I learnt that travelling alone can be fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Slovakia, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Hungary
