My name is Maria Giulia and I'm 21 years old. I come from Bologna, Italy. Currently I'm studying "International and diplomatic relations" at the university in Forlì (about one hour by car from Bologna). I love what I'm studying, it gives me the possibility to travel a lot. In fact i already did two exchange programme and now i'm trying to apply for the third one (Strasbourg or Amsterdam). I went to USA, Boston, during my fourth year of high school, when i was 17, and last year I've been to Poland, Warsaw, during my second year of university.
I'm a very easygoing person and open-minded, and I'm doing all my best to get better in cooking.
I love meeting new people, and try to share with them my culture, my interests, and my thoughts. Hopefully the will do the same with me.
Fortunately I had the chance to travel a lot in my brief life so far, thank to my parents. I always have my backpack with me and everytime i go somewhere i buy a little key chain to attach to my backpack. I love animals (i have a dog, scooby), actually i love everything and everyone, there is just one thing that i really don't like... FRESH tomato :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because first of all I always prefer to be with people rather than being alone. I strongly believe in the philosophy "happiness is real only when shared". and then because i think that you really can say you have visited a place when you hae also met people from that place, meeting their culture. and where also the culture of a place is more evident if not in the houses of the people who live in that place?

Centres d'intérêt

I love sports, in general. But most of all football, or soccer according with the place you come from. I love playing billiard and drinking beers (oh I love beers, and good wine). I love wandering around, talking with people that i love, or new people that have always something new to say. NO boring people please.
ah, and i Love good food :) and concerts!!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I almost listen to every kind of music except from heavy metal, or metal. I really like indie music, indie rock (mumford and sons, of monsters and men, florence and the machine,...).
I watch a lot of movies and it's really hard for me to say which one I prefer. But most of all I prefer indipendent movies and cinemas, i really live Xavier Dolan (he is french).
I also read a lot, or at least I try when i have free time!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

one amazing thing that i've done... i went to kenya and i did the safari. I think it is my best memory. kenya and the safari is even better than you can expect. it's such an incredible and mystic experience.

With hosts i can share my experience abroad, my travels. I know i'm just 21 years old, but it doesn't matter how old you are, it matters if you have your heart open when you do things. And me I'm always trying to have my heart and my eyes open. So I think I can share my experience abroad, some italian food, and my thoughts, because i'm a person who think A LOT :)
