I'm studying Tourism management at the University of Iceland in Reykjavik and I just finished my second year. I want to travel a bit so I'm taking this semester off to do just that! I grew up on a small farm in Iceland where we keep sheep and horses and I am used to help out at the farm. I am good with animals and used to working in the tourist sector, for example I have worked as a waitress, at a reception at a spa and some cleaning duties, dirt does not scare me! I have taken a course in first aid with the Red Cross in Iceland.
I'm fluent in English (both writing and speaking) and I'm working on my German skills :).
In my free time I enjoy horseback riding, reading, listening to music, going to the movies, hanging out with friends and trying new things!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I am an open person and I think the world isn't as bad as it sometimes appears to be. I think couchsurfing is the perfect place to meet people and stay with, learn about their culture and share experiences and stories.
I have never actually hosted anyone on here but I haven't really had the opportunity yet.
The world is a great place if you just have the courage to go out, see and experience it!

My favorite song is Island in the sun by Weezer, but my favorite artist is Lana Del Rey. I am a big fan of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit series but I also enjoy the occasional chick flick :). I'm mostly into Fantasy books, because it never ceases to amaze me how authors can just imagine whole new worlds and new world orders.
