Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch surfing because I've found that some of my most fun and authentic travelling experiences are ones where I meet and stay with locals.

This is my favourite part of travelling, meeting new people seeing what different people get up to in their every day lives, and sometimes finding the similarities in friends/families that are half way across the world from each other.

Whilst travelling I always seem to be getting in some kind of conundrum whether it be getting stung by a stonefish or beaten up by a lady of the night... I always come out smiling and with a great story though!
