Hi I'm Lauren. I'm a pretty simple person- really just enjoying the finer things in life-coffee, shows, beer, and running. Exploring in nature and discovering cities. I can never stay in one place for too long, I'm always on the go; looking for new adventures and people. Finding the most positive outlook on any situation is what keeps me sane, everything is always a learning experience for me.

Interests

I love running. I will be running my second marathon in Chicago this upcoming October. Besides running I just like anything that involves being outside or just interacting with people. I like going to breweries, art galleries, shows, ocean swimming or just hanging out and enjoying some good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't even know where to begin with my favorite music. It all started when I was 6 years old, my mother brought home No Doubt Tragic Kingdom and I fell in love. That was it for me, they have been my favorite band since and have really influenced the music I listen to today. So instead of listing off all my favorite artists I will leave you with the last few shows festivals I've been too. Little Dragon, The Orwells, Miami Horror, Coachella, Burgerama, FYF, Tyler the Creator, Haim, Craft Spells, Rhye and Weezer.

Movies. I'm a sucker for cult classics. Carrie, 10 Things I Hate About You, 16 Candles..etc. but I'll watch anything really.

Books. I'm currently reading Middle Sex my Jeffrey Eugenides
