Overview
About Me
I am a senior editor for a travel website and do occasional translating and interpreting job (English - Indonesian). I thought I wasn't into travelling the world (which kind of ironic, considering my job), but I saw how travelling the world turned some of my fiends into more interesting human beings. It's amazing! I want to be one of those people.
I consider myself a funny and friendly person. I believe that the world works an a reciprocal basis, so I always try my best to treat people the way I want to be treated.
I pride myself in being open-minded and will be super interested to hear anything from people, especially those stories that come from the darkest pit of their lives. I learn a lot from people, in ways that are sometimes surprising.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to really get to know the people of the place I'm visiting. Immersing myself in a place through the eyes of the local fascinates me more than just visiting to touristic places (although touristic places are good as well).
Interests
I love to talk about people and something close to human being the most. But I also get fascinated by basically everything new.
I sing and dance (not professionally) on a daily basis. Just so you know. Tee hee

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music that resonates good vibes and touches hearts. I may not dance to all kinds of music, but I listen to all the lyrics.
I watch movies that are "light" and entertaining a lot, like comedy movies. Occasionally, I also watch thriller and science fictions movies. I always love movies that are relatable or full of thing that I can interprer and emphatize on.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My first ever flight was to Germany for a student conference in 2015. It was such an unforgettable experience (both the flights and the whole trip) because I came from a countryside and it was such a great achievement for a village boy like myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have something quite surprising for some people that you might want to learn. In order to learn this, you have to be open-minded.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring snacks from Bandung or you can also request anything from me. If will try to accommodate your request as best as I can
