This will be my year to take the time and effort to travel to the far reaches of the USA to speak in person with my family members and to thank them for all the time and purpose and energy they imparted to me from my birth and thru this year. I will be surprising them & can not expect to stay in their homes for the 2 days I've set aside for 3 different persons of great value and significance to/for me. I have the time and not the money to stay in hotels but since couch surfing is now a bonified and reliable institution; i am very enthusiastic and relieved to be able to actually make three pilgrimages to say goodbye to the family members whom brought me into this world and thank them for all they have given me; before they leave the world. I decided there is no letter I can write that will say/express all the meaning, gratitude and love i have full in my heart because of their choice to watch over me and care a great deal for what happens to me; BUT... making the trek out to each place in which they now reside for a day or two to pop up at their doorstep (knowing ahead of time the life they are living and as I still talk to them by phone a few times a week I know when the right or best likely time to show up for a thank u chat can be); can convey a whole range of areas that such an effort on a very small budget will communicate. I have thought thru what I am so grateful for and what I wish them to know but only stopping by (i live in nyc and i will be going to Delray beach in southern FL. I will also go to Las Vegas NV, and CA (both northern and southern).
I want so much to do this and it's worth every bit of effort. I have the time and enuf money to do this if planned well... so if I contact u and u are willing to host me along the way of this first major gratitude pilgrimage of my life... u are doing a tremendous service and support of a whole family that u may never know but we all thank u in advance. Especially I am thanking u, because without couch surfing I wouldn't be able to do the most loving and important act towards my elders (that i have ever planned a whole blueprint for doing and fortunately have the time to put into the action of love and gratitude in the only way that expresses my depth of thanks... Now I am starting to understand that 'love really is a verb, and an action verb at that'. I hope to make the full swing to each person via 2 days of couch surfing in each place in which love ones live or if needed also along the way/route to each city and state of my family members. I'll be checking bus, flight, and train pricing. If anyone knows of rides whom need another driver in january, February ,or March....I have a driver's license with a perfect driving record and expect to share in costs of travelling. Also if u know of a great airline, bus, or train company or route (even a circuitous routes ); are worth knowing of and i will just need basic info to call or Web search to access the info up to date now; ... I am in need of the info as I'm at the very beginning stages of planning and such info can be reality altering and just might make this pilgrimage not only possible but potentially a consciousness shifting experience. Thanks for reaching out to me if u choose too; for any reason for advice on how to approach my loved ones once there and for travel experiences and ways to find new or unique ways (for me) that will make this pilgrimage the most doable and perhaps fulfilling it. Ur little piece of info added into the mix could make the whole pilgrimage work out and be complete.
