About Me

I'm currently attending James Madison University at the School of Media Arts and Design seeking a Bachelors of Arts in Digital VIdeo and Cinematography. I'm a pretty chill guy looking to add more adventure in my life. I'm a firm believer that some of the strongest bonds are made within the first twenty minutes of meeting someone so I'm excited to host and travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to hitchhike and explore while I still have time; student loans build up fast and I have until I graduate before I have to start getting that together so why not adventure while I can.

Interests

I'm very interested in filmmaking, photography, and music production. I play in a progressive metal band and we write, record, and produce our own music. Even though I'm heavily into prog metal I love all genres of music (not an exaggeration). Along with those I love the outdoors and activities associated such as hiking, camping, and fishing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite bands are Between the Buried and me, Protest the Hero, Haken, The Wonder Years, Brand New, The Story so far, Real Friends, The Afterimage, and more. Some of my favorite film works are Donnie Darko, Django, the Breaking Bad series and more. My favorite book would definitely be Into the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I picked up a hitchhiker on my way to class one day and skipped class to give him a ride to a gas station where I bought him some food and gave him some money. It felt wrong leaving him because I felt like I should've joined in on the adventure. I've been itching for adventure since.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a large proponent of sociology and philosophy so conversations can become very interesting very quickly with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a couch, food, and a gamecube with Mariokart Double Dash.
