I'm a 30-year-old vegan from the North of Germany. Treating other living beings right is important to me and for me that applies to animals as much as it does to people. You can of course stay with me if you eat meat, I will not argue about why you shouldn't eat it, but you will not get any at my home and I would ask you not to bring it here. Instead, I will cook you an awesome, tasty vegan meal if you want to try it.
I do not own a car, instead I bike everywhere. A vacation for me is exploring my surroundings, whether on foot or diving, and getting to know the people and the culture of the country I'm in.

I actually joined to offer someone a place to sleep. I had never joined before because I always lived with 2-3 people and never really had room to offer someone a couch.
I think CS is a unique way to stay in a different city. You can meet someone new, get advice from them on places to visit or where to eat etc. It's much more personal than staying in a hostel and probably also more quiet ;).

I walked the Camino de Santiago. An experience I recommend to anyone!
I participated in two triathlons and ran a half marathon, which was pretty cool. Now I want to explore the oceans with diving.
