I'm Oriane, 25 ya.
History student (I study Sphanish & Indigenous interactions in the 16th and 17th centuries in Latin-America).

I'm pretty new on CS but it seems to be an amazing way to discover new people and exchange with them. I love to travel and I'm really curious about history, art and culture in general. Aaaand food. I love food.

I'm quite a calm person and I enjoy reading, walking in nature or visiting monuments, but I'm always open to a little party !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to practice a new way of travelling, sharing with people who live where I go, and exchanging between people who have different experiences. I also would like to learn new languages so that seems to be a good way for that too ! I'd like to learn portuguese, russian, japanese, italian, german, sign language and I really need to practice my spanish !

Interests

I like to travel, read, learn new things (especially about history and culture). I also like to go out with friends, drink some beers, eat great food. I enjoy my life : )
I also have an immoderate passion for cats and dogs ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I do love fantasy and sci-fi in books and movies ! My favorite one is for sure The Lord of the Rings ♥
But I also love latin-american writers (Gabriel García Márquez y Jorge Luis Borges are absolute geniuses) and I'm always curious to read new books !

I listen to all kind of music :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent 8 months in New Zealand with my boyfriend traveling around the country. We've built our own campervan and that was pretty amazing !

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not too bad at cooking and I could make you discover some French cuisine if you like !
I like to spend time visiting and I love history, so any discussion or city tour about culture and history... I'm in !
I'm very interested and curious about everything :)

And I do love beer. A lot.
