I am Miia, I`m a friendly, half finnish and half norwegian troll. I`ve lived in the norwegian woods for 24 years with the rest of my troll family. (Just kidding, I am not really a troll!). Hopefully my friends would describe me as an outgoing, positive, and open-minded person- with a good taste of humour! Besides of being a student, I have a partime job where I get to meet people from countries all over the world. I would consider myself as rather impulsive, social and spontaneous! I am always up for some fun and I like living in the moment.

PS: I have a passion for cats. Unfortunately I don`t have cats myself, but if you have a cat or two, they are more than welcome to join the party!

Interests

When i`m not being a hardworking student, which is not too often.. In Norway we actually have a word for that: "skippertaksmetoden". For me this means to do the whole semester in less than to weeks. Sometimes with good results. Other times not so good.. So, enough about that.

Tuesday night the shit gets real in Bergen! Every tuesday me and mah homies gather for Quiz Night at a bar called "Brukbar". This is definitely the highlight of the week. Our team name is "Quizz all over my tits (and say you love me)" Without any doubt the best team name at the quiz. We almost always win. I promise to take you to Quiz Night if you stay at my place.

Besides of being a not too hardworking student and going to quiz every week I enjoy singing, playing guitar, working out, eating good food and drinking quality beer. We have a lot of quality beer in Norway. I have tasted a lot of them, and would love to take you to the best pubs in Bergen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have to admit that i`m not that into books. I`d rather go to a good concert, festival or watch a good movie. Some of my favourite bands at the moment is The Prodigy, Fleetwood Mac (recently saw them in Amsterdam. Without any doubt the best concert I`ve ever been to) Röyksopp, Susanne Sundfør and of course our local heroes: A-laget and Lars Vaular.
The cultural atmosphere in Bergen is in my opinion vibrating and diverse. We have a lot of great musicians from Bergen. I would love to take you to a great concert or two during your time in Bergen.

Some of my favourite movies are "The Shawshank Redemption", "Schindler`s List", "Inception" and "One Flew over the Cockoos`s Nest"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough one.. Nothing extraordinary. I wake up every single morning (grateful for that) and try to make every day amazing. I would describe myself as a true "livsnyter" as we say in Norway. I dont sit around and wait for the great moments to happen. Instead I try to enjoy the big moments as well as the small ones.
