About Me

Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering student going to New York City by the Science Without Borders mobility program from August 2015 to August 2016. Really into learning new languages and being in touch with new cultures.

I am the one on the right. The one on the left is Gabriela, love of my life, currently living in Ireland by the same mobility program as me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Found interesting the idea of traveling to new places and staying not in hotels or hostels, getting a superficial view of the city that a tourist gets.. This might give an opportunity for an in-depth experiente of a local.

I think the world is a unique place and a person will only truly live life if they can live as a world citizen and share experiences with anyone around the globe. You can do that in many ways; as a tourist, staying in a hotel (if you can afford it), in a relative's house... Or as a couchsurfer, which consists in an amazing experience of mutual trust for a completely unknown human being.

Music, Movies, and Books

A bit of everything, from today's pop songs, brazilian Funk music, back to the eightie's rock, and whatever my CSmate wants to share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Will fill out this box after my exchange experience, probably the most awesome of my life.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Brazilian culture, experiences, stories, but I guess the main thing is the food: i like cooking and I think that cooking Brazilian food to a foreigner will be a pleasure. I'm really not an advanced gourmet, but some simple receipts from my country might come out fairly acceptable.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, United States
