I am teaching at Indigenous College of NDHU, at the East Coast, Hualien, Taiwan. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling, cooking, biking, growing own food and dancing with chickens. I don't have a car and my place-Breathing Life is at Shou-Feng where is the opposite direction from the Taroko National Park. I promote slow travel and encourage travelers to discover the beauty of small village that is not listed on the guidebooks.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have traveled about 40 countries since 1989 and would like to exchange cultures and my passion about food with the travelers. With the help of friends, we built Breathing Life in 2014. It is my home and I'd like to use it as a platform for cultural exchange and a site of learning and sharing. I am also aiming to bring the 'world' to the rural village and let the travelers to experience Taiwanese hospitality. Since I teach at university I hope my CS guests would have a chance to interact with the my students and the locals.
