I'm a french canadian from Kamouraska, Québec. I'm a positive person interested in a lot of things. I play piano (learned classical, now mostly jazz). I love to learn about... pretty much anything! I feel like getting to the bottom of things is a pretty natural way of thinking. I'm surrounded by extraordinarily interesting and lovable friends.

Interests

I love music. I'm into jazz a lot these days. I really enjoy a good jam session with friendly people.

I'm very interested in philosophy, science, spirituality, technology, anthropology, history... and especially in the links between those disciplines.

I'm learning Lindy Hop (swing dancing) and I love it. Dancing with a good live swing band is so energizing!

I love discovering new places, being outside, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, eating new food...

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: A lot! Jazz, from swing to contemporary. I like to dance to good electronic music, funk/afrobeat. I like to learn about traditional music of other cultures. Pretty much any music with an original, sincere, non-violent vibe. Heavy metal of the skulls and zombies type turns me off.

Movies: O brother where are thou, The man from earth, Star Wars and a lot more.

Books: Neal Stephenson, Aldous Huxley, Tolkien, Dostoevsky, Umberto Eco, Rabindranath Tagore and a lot more.
