Im a 19 year old South African male, travelling through Europe. I finshed high School in 2014, and plan on studying further in 2016, however, this year, I would like to see as much of Europe as I can. I am interested in different cultures and people. I am friendly and enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I have worked as a waiter and gardener before, as well as various other odd jobs, but my dream is to one day become a writer. I am highly domesticated and low maintenance. I have two younger Brothers, two Dogs (a staffie and an alsation) and my parents are both involved in writing proffessionally.

I am interested in travelling as much as possible on a rather tight budget I am also very interested in meeting new people, and hearing their stories. I enjoy meeting new people, and feel I can learn something from anyone and everyone.

Interests

I am very interested in all sports. I love football, all endurance sports (I am an avid runner and trail runner, and have run in provincial competitions before, though i am also a big cycling and Triathlon fan), all extreme sports, and chess.

I love the outdoors, and any outdoor pursuits. I am an experienced fisherman and hiker.

I like exploring culture in all forms, be it through meeting people, reading, watching films, or listening to Music.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to as much Music as I can, but mainly I listen to Rock (through the Ages) and hip hop, from the 90s to present.

I have been reading plenty of Reginald Hill books recently, and I enjoy his writing. I ënjoy mystery novels, as well as love stories. I like thought provoking books as well, whether they be fiction or not.

I enjoy Psycho Thriller movies, and intelligent comedies, though I am not a huge movie fan. I enjoy the classics, especially all Alfred Hitchcock and Quentin Tarantino films.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have experienced life in the two Major cities of South Africa, as well as on a farm. I have seen hundred of animals and plants on the farm, and consider myself to have a fairly rounded view on the world.

I know very much about all Sport, and I would also consider myself to have a vast Musical knowledge. I have experienced good times and bad, violent crime and extreme kindness from strangers.
