I am a 21 year old South African who loves travelling, exploring new places and cultures and meeting new people.
I have lived in the United states for a year and a half, lived in France for two months and I now live back home in South Africa where I am currently studying.
I like to think of myself as an open minded woman who is very sociable and fun to be around. I love emerging myself into different cultures and learning everything about the places I travel to. My ultimate goal in life is to see the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing as I feel that couchsurfing is a great place to find people in the areas I am travelling to. This helps me meet locals in the countries and learn about their cultures, help me connect with people all over the world and also let me teach people the history or a few things about South Africa.

Interests

I have many different interests. I would say that I am a social person and I enjoy anything as long as I have good company. I do enjoy outdoor activities such as going on hikes, going to the beach or just walking around towns and trying new restaurants.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the amazing things I have done was move abroad alone at the age of 18.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am able to teach others about South African history, the different cultures we have here, some Afrikaans and how to make soem traditional South African meals.

I feel as if I am able to learn a lot rom others about their country, their cultures and their language.
