We're Alex and Malin a British/Swedish couple who met in Spain 9 years ago and who've since then travelled the world together.

We have done some pretty crazy things! We've taught English in Spain and Thailand, have volunteered long term with Refugees from Myanmar and we have hitchhiked from Thailand to Spain, Turkey to Azerbaijan and lately we've hitchhiked in Myanmar and India.

We have our own YouTube channel on which we document our journey travelling around the world and would love to share our experiences through couchsurfing and to show how amazing this kind of travel can be!

We love to travel and meet other travellers and locals and tend to stay a little bit longer in each place we visit, to properly be able to absorb the place, people and culture. We love food and all the different variations of it. Eating and trying new food is always a highlight of our daily travels. We both love the outdoors, spending time with animals and reading. We are both learning to play the ukulele and the guitar as we love music.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We chose to surf to meet people who we wouldn't meet staying in guesthouses and hostels. Through couchsurfing we can get more authentic experiences while travelling and meet and learn from locals, something that we value a lot. We believe that sharing, trusting and learning from others is the key to self growth.

We would love to host in the future when we're staying put somewhere for a little longer.

In the last couple of years we have met some really generous and kindhearted people whilst hitchhiking and couchsurfing, who've helped us in many different ways along the way. We've experienced so much goodness and love in people and are strong supporters of couchsurfing.
