About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel, in a human way. I think home is a state of mind, and when you travel you need a place to call "home". I guess that place is where friends are, when you can trust and be trusted, with love and respect. That's what I'm looking for: to share, to know people, because it's amazing to open up your own space to know somebody and yourself. That's an act of love!

Interests

Art, in all its expressions.
I love everything about visual arts. I do printmaking, drawing, comics, painting and walls, analogic photo, art objects. I believe in images as an universal language and human need.
I'm also drummer and percussionist, I played piano in a time, and made some little experiences in theatre.
I'm art teacher, with an special interest in art history, supported by philosophy, politics, aestethics, sociology.
I like knowing people, walk, breathe, travel and live.

Music, Movies, and Books

- About music: all of it. It can makes you learn, fun, dance, think, sing, emotive. Music, all of it.
My loved musicians are Luis Alberto Spinetta, Pez, Gustavo Cerati, Beatles, Elliott Smith, Sean Lennon, Weezer, Queen, and a lot lot more. My music comes and goes from jazz, pop, rock, folk, psychedelic, progressive, ballad, and so.
- About movies: I like to re-watch movies, to search for new details and to give them new meanings. My favourite is "Dead poets society" and Woody Allen's movies.
- About books: Neil Gainman's "The Sandman" -which actually looks like a comic but it's graphic literature!-, George Orwell's "1984", Fabian Casas' stories, Oesterheld's plots, Bukowsky's poetry, among others. I enjoy reading and studying about art history and art philosophy, from authors like Luis Camnitzer, Arthur Danto, Luis Felipe Noé, and a lot more.
