I'm a Dutch lawyer, working in an international environment and interested in getting to know others and other cultures. I am curious, adventurous, reliable and friendly. I love sports (playing as well as watching) - and I'm a sucker for sunsets, starlit skies and rainbows.

I am happy to host people that are looking to have a good conversation, some drinks, and generally hang out - on the weekends I'm absolutely joining you! ;) Obviously, I can show you around.
On weekdays however, I'm pretty busy. So if you're going to stay those days, I won't be able to show you around. Also, I leave for work pretty early, and do not generally let people stay when I'm not there (although it can be discussed). I can drive you into The Hague though, and pick you up at the end of my work day.

Please note that I don't live in Amsterdam - I live in a different city (although only 30 mins by train). So please don't write me if you want to stay in Amsterdam.

I believe couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people from around the world, and learn about their culture. Also, I believe this is the best way to really experience a new country/city: go with locals, and you'll actually see what it's like.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I like most kinds of music (not a big fan of reggae and salsa though). Favorites include Van Morrison, the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and most kinds of EDM.

I'm not what you'd call a movie buff, but I like many 'mainstream' movies; from action to romantic comedy, and from thriller to Disney.
I prefer watching series: Game of Thrones, Suits, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, The Big Bang Theory, etc.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Sky diving over Lake Taupo in New Zealand was truly amazing.
Also, hitchhiking through (east) Canada was a great experience.
