I'm a friendly guy, interested in many things (films, music, literature..) and looking for interesting people all over the world. I work for Cineteca Nacional, México (Mexican National Film Archive) as a magazine editor. Love bike riding, walking (a lot) and taking pictures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a frecuent traveller I know for sure that travelling means an totally enrichment experience. Knowing people in their places, on their own enviroment and culture guaranty a deeper comprehension of the world itself. I've decided to join Couchsurfing because it represents a fantastic multicultural idea.

Interests

I like reading and writing, taking and editing pictures; bikeriding, walking and watching football matches. From 2013 to this day I work as a magazine editor for Cineteca Nacional (Mexican Film Archive), which has turned me in a cinephile to, specially interested in documentary cinema.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC. I like rock (all kind of rock), jazz, bossa nova, classical music, "contemporary music", hip hop and latin styles (includindg caribean genders). Almost everything.
MOVIES. I love latinoamercan cinema, because i'ts which I know the best. I'm specially interested in documentaries (Once ,I tried to make one myself, but I failed).
BOOKS. I have read many latinoamerican novels and I also like poetry. Since I studied Anthropology and I'm dedicated to cinema, I know a lot of related essays and books. I'm interested in journalism too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in serveral places, included Sierra Madre Oriental (a mexican tropical mountain chain), where I learned notions of and indigenous lenguage and knew a lot about the people and traditions. I`ve travelled around Mexico by ride.
