About Me

I studied Social Communication and Journalism and that starts my interest on image storytelling. I focused on photography and video reportage and further documentaries for college. Looking to continue with visual arts i founded a production company with two partners where i worked for 5 years making different kinds of videos, from corporate to music.

After working with my partners i started to go by my self in various projects and production companies. I've been making videos for brands, companies, weddings, musicians and others. At the same time i've been art directors assistant for fashion photo shoots in several fashion magazines in Colombia.

Also looking to help in community and social projects, i worked in a self-managed project called Ruta Balele to make some workshops in Chocó, Colombia, a town in the colombian pacific coast. I´ve worked as a hostel manager after that, there i learned different stuff about farming and gardening, as well hanging with the visitors, countability and others. Now traveling the west coast!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on Couchsurfing because i have been receiving people at my flat on Bogotá. Sharing with people is one way to know moro about the world and culture, to share experiences and maybe share projects and interests. I believe that you can go wherever you want without expend much money on hotels or hostels because there is so many people with open mind and heart who wants to share with new friends, at least help others with a place to stay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling is the best thing to do, wherever in the jungle, the cities or small towns where you can meet with the people and their culture. I've lived in the Colombian pacific Coast two times, between the jungle and the ocean we lived as a group of people named Repercusión Balele, we went to make some art and recycling workshops as a temporary autonomous project, so we helped the community without any external help. People started to know us and we became friends with the community and then they started helping us to stay for longer. After that we met a hostel in the beach, they asked us to stay and manage the hostel, so the trip went even more longer. So stay in the beach, surfing, eating delicious sea food, and by the way living and learning about community issues and problems change of our minds of seeing the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my knowledge in photography or video making. Other stuff in permaculture that i've learned in various workshops, or simply hang out, talk and enjoy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I've work in different areas so i'm able to help in other issues like gardening, cooking, cleaning and so on. I can share time to make different plans, share stories, i´ll clean and i know how to share the living space with others. Anything i can help, just tell me.
